Terms of Service

Effective July 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of tagd, operated by Marker 78 Collective, LLC, doing business as tagd ("tagd," "we," "us"). By using tagd, you agree to them.

What tagd does

tagd helps you sell items on the platforms you already use. It helps you write your listing, gives you trackable links and QR codes so you can see which channels bring buyers, and hosts a listing card showing your photos and details.

What tagd does not do. tagd does not post listings to Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or any other platform on your behalf, and we never ask for your credentials to those platforms. tagd does not handle payment, take a share of your sale, or act as a party to your transaction. You post your listing, you talk to your buyer, and you close your own sale.

Your account

You need a working email address to sign in. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. tagd is currently offered as a limited beta, and access may be granted, limited, or revoked at our discretion.

Your content and your responsibility for it

You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other material you upload. You grant us the limited permission needed to store that material, generate listing copy from it, and display it on your tagd listing card and tracked links.

You are responsible for making sure what you post is accurate and lawful. You agree that you have the right to sell the item and the right to use the photos you upload.

Listing copy is generated with AI, and you are the final check

tagd uses AI to help draft listing copy from the details you provide and confirm. tagd is designed so that copy is built only from facts you confirmed or that are plainly visible in your photos, and it asks you to review those facts before anything is stored.

Even so, generated text can contain errors. You are responsible for reading what tagd produces before you publish it anywhere. Do not publish a claim about your item that you have not verified. tagd does not tell you what your item is worth and does not provide appraisals.

Contacting a seller through a listing page

A tagd listing card lets a buyer ask to schedule a viewing or make an offer without creating an account. If you use one of those, what you enter — your name, your contact details, and your message, requested time, or offer amount — is sent to the seller of that listing. Send only what you are willing to give that seller. Do not use these forms to advertise, to send unsolicited messages, or to harass anyone.

An offer or viewing request made through tagd is not a binding contract, and neither is a seller's response. The two of you agree your own terms directly.

If you are a seller, buyer contact details reach you so you can arrange your own sale. Use them for that. Do not add them to a mailing list, sell them, or pass them on. You are responsible for handling them lawfully.

Acceptable use

We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these terms.

Messages from tagd

tagd sends email for sign-in codes and account notices. tagd sends SMS only to an account owner's own number, when that owner has configured it, for operational alerts about their own account. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Availability

We aim to keep tagd running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and the beta may be modified or discontinued. Printed QR codes depend on the service remaining available, and we will give reasonable notice before retiring anything that would break links already in the world.

Disclaimer

tagd is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error free or that generated listing copy will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marker 78 Collective, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost sales, arising out of your use of tagd. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Your transactions are your own

tagd is not a party to any sale you make. We are not responsible for the conduct of buyers or sellers, the condition or legality of items, or the outcome of any transaction. Take the usual precautions when meeting a stranger to complete a sale.

Termination

You may stop using tagd at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
